Exploring Provence, it’s like living amazing differents experiences. It offers a taste of the good life in a way that’s truly unique. Let yourself be lulled by the sound of cicadas singing.
In a few days, discover some of its hidden treasures, from the hilltop villages of Lubéron, to the great wilderness of the Camargue, passing through the limestone massif of the Alpilles, and the cities with an exceptional historical heritage such as Aix en Provence or Avignon the ancient city of Popes.

PROGRAM

DAY 1 – WELCOME IN AVIGNON
Welcome in Avignon, once the capital regional and perfect base
from which to explore the most beautiful of regions.
Welcome drink, dinner and overnight in your 3-star ***hotel.


DAY 2 – AVIGNON & PONT DU GARD
After breakfast,
Enjoy a guided tour of the old Papal town who was the capital of Christianity.
Today it remains a prosperous city dominated by the Palace of the Popes.
See also the St Bénézet Bridge, famous the world over in the beloved children’s song.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
In an environment of rare beauty, discover the aquaduct « Pont du Gard », UNESCO world Heritage.
Visit the museum, the Pont du Gard and walk in the third line of the aqueduct.
Dinner and overnight in the same accommodation.


DAY 3 – CAMARGUE
A wonderful start today with a drive through the Camargue.
Deemed an area of outstanding natural beauty it lies at the mouth of the River Rhône.
Live the experience visiting a traditional Manade where you can enjoy a typical lunch.
In the afternoon, proceed to Arles.
The city is often mentioned for its rich ancient heritage and his Romanesque monuments
listed as World Heritage by UNESCO including the Roman Amphitheatre, the Roman Theatre.
Back to Avignon for dinner and overnight.


Day 4 – AIX-EN-PROVENCE
Full day in Aix en Provence old Roman spa town. The City reveal you its elegant mansion houses,
beautiful architecture and monuments, all reminders of its prestigious past.
Its also the town off the painter Cézanne and you discover some of his heritage
during a guided tour on his footsteps.
Lunch and afternoon at leisure in Aix en Provence,
Dinner and overnight in Avignon.


DAY 5 – THE ALPILLES
Located in the hearth of the Alpilles discover today the hilltop village of “Les Baux de Provence”.
This place combines its outstanding mediaeval (Castel) and Renaissance heritage
with a sense of hospitality and a spread of culture that make it the "Flagship of Provence".
Grandiose decors provide a backdrop exceptional.
Lunch at a local restaurant,
In the afternoon, while strolling through the narrow winding streets of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence,
you will discover fantastic old fountains, shady squares, picturesque restaurants and elegant boutiques.
Back to Avignon for dinner and overnight.


Day 6 - THE LUBERON
This morning, through the charming countryside of the Luberon,
join the hilltop village of Roussillon and visit the “little Colorado” and Ochre cliffs.
There are 17 shades of ochre daubed across the houses of the village,
drawn from the palette of the old ochre quarry next door.
Lunch at a local restaurant,
Guided tour of Gordes, one of the most delightful village in Provence.
At the very top is the church and the castle which face out onto the hills of the Luberon.
Enjoy your last evening in a local restaurant for a Farewell dinner,
Overnight in the same accommodation.


Day 7 – DEPARTURE
After your last breakfast in Provence, departure and back to home.
